Creating an App Password in Bitbucket:
Navigate to Personal Settings:
Click on your avatar or profile picture in the bottom-left corner, and then select "Personal Bitbucket settings."
Access App Passwords:
In the left sidebar, navigate to "Access management" and click on "App passwords."
Create App Password:
Click on the "Create app password" button.
Provide Details:
Enter a label for your app password to help you identify its purpose.
Choose the specific access rights for the app password. You can grant permissions based on the needs of your application.
Generate App Password:
Click the "Create" or "Generate" button to generate the app password.
Copy and Save:
Copy the generated app password to a secure location, as you won't be able to see it again. Treat it like a password.
Make sure to save the app password in a secure manner.
Use App Password in Your Application:
Replace your regular Bitbucket password with the app password in your application or any tool that requires access to your Bitbucket repositories.
