What is agent governance?
Agent governance refers to the set of policies, processes, and controls an organization puts in place to manage how AI agents are built, deployed, and used. It covers areas such as defining who can create or access agents, setting permission and security standards, monitoring agent behavior and performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, and maintaining accountability for the actions agents take. The goal is to keep AI agent usage consistent, secure, and aligned with organizational standards as adoption grows.
