What is an Agent Management Platform (AMP)?

An agent management platform (AMP) is a centralized system that helps organizations build, deploy, monitor, and control AI agents across the business. It typically provides tools for tracking which agents exist, managing their permissions and access to data, monitoring their performance and behavior, enforcing security and compliance standards, and providing visibility into how agents are being used. The goal is to give organizations a single place to oversee their AI agents as adoption scales, rather than having them managed separately and inconsistently across different teams and tools.
