Known error
ITILIn ITIL, a problem whose root cause has been identified and documented, usually with a workaround, and recorded in the known error database so future matching incidents can be recognised and resolved faster. A known error stays open until a permanent fix is deployed. Every accepted RCA should create or update a known error entry.
